The Narsee Monjee Admission test (NMAT) exam is taken by students vying for a seat in Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). The NMAT exam can be taken 3 times in the test window that start from the first or second week of October and goes up till the third week of December.

The syllabus is covered in  3 sections

  1. The Language section will have around 40 questions to be answered. It will have two Reading Comprehensive passages, where candidates have to answer select the most appropriate answers from the passage itself.  Other questions will be related to Synonyms & Antonyms, fill in the blanks, Para Jumble, Idioms and Vocabulary. These questions judge the students learning and understanding of Language.
  2. Logical Reasoning section will have around 40 questions to be answered and will check the logical aptitude of the candidates. The logical reasoning will be related to family Tree, arrangement, coding, numeric grid and series.   Besides the logical reasoning, the section will also have questions related to verbal skills and decision making skills.
  3. Quantitative Skills section will have around 50 questions to be answered which have to be solved within 60 minutes. The section will have questions related to topics like, Data interpretation, Problem solving and Data sufficiency.
